Appear Here

Last month, Reuben Feels' Voice of Play Adam Johnstone was invited by pop-up space operator Appear Here to sit on a discussion panel titled 'The Future of Entertainment'.The event was held to celebrate Appear Here's recent deal to transform empty space in London Underground Stations into buzzing retail and entertainment destinations, with Old Street being the flagship project and the location of the talk itself. The event was described as follows:

Our latest Underground Session brings together the brands pushing the boundaries in entertainment. Hear from those reinventing the way we enjoy Food, Film, Music and Events and find out how they curate experiences that go the extra mile.

Over the course of the evening, the panel discussed a range of topics, from how an event's location can provide it's creative "soul", how a tailored, personalised experience can provide both a sense of luxury and 'exclusiveness', to how creative minds can remain inspired and events can stay fresh and exciting in the face of ever-increasing demand. The night was a fantastic success, with every seat filled and many new friends made.

Special thanks to Appear Here for rallying the speakers (which is like herding cats), and also to the fascinating people we shared the stage with: Tom Lovett | Sofar Sounds, Adam Johnstone | Reuben Feels, Dominic Cools-Lartigue | Street Feast, Jo Vidler | Secret Productions, Simon Whalley | Framestore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu9PI7Q_7zE
