For Actors By Actors

Staying creative, connected, and collaborative in these uncertain times.

We value our creative community, lovingly called our Reubenites, and understand all too well how inconsistent the arts and entertainment industries can be at the best of times. We at Reuben Feels are plotting and planning ways to actively maintain creative momentum.

For Actors By Actors is a program of workshops curated by Reuben Feels based on the offerings and skill sets of our Reubenites. Previous programs have included breath work, script readings, yoga, character work, theatre dynamics, Meisner Technique, contemporary dance, even “follow the leader” (led by a 3 yr old). We were thrilled to have Rachel Shoer Geaves for Feldenkrais Technique. It also served as a platform for Reubenites to get feedback on ideas they were developing for TV shows, provocative panels (diversity in the arts), and choreographic works.

Social distancing and isolation means the obvious restriction of not being able to get in a studio together, but we can use the vast amount of online capabilities available to our advantage.

We will formalise For Actors By Actors as proposals come in and in the meantime we’ll keep in touch via social channels with offerings such as Reuben Feels Groovement Sessions (Live on Insta Stories with our Creator of Play, Natalie), Groovement Mixtapes (catch them on Soundcloud), and Reuben Musings in our news feed.

If you’d like to offer something or would like to receive some wisdom please get in touch with us here. The format can be visual, audio or a document, presented live using Insta Stories Live or Zoom, depending on the content. Put forward your offerings and we’ll curate a program, starting from Monday 6th April.

We can’t wait to hear from you, dear Reubenites. Take care out there and from us Feelers, we salute you x x
