As the year draws to it’s conclusion, all mistletoe kisses in scratchy festive jumpers, we take a moment to reflect on the adventures of Reuben in his 6th year of immersive storytelling. Here’s a few highlights for you to feast upon.
Throughout November we played with Everyman cinemas creating immersive murder mystery magic for the release of Murder On The Orient Express. We toured the UK, performing in nine of their beautiful cinemas.
“Loved every event and loved seeing all of the guests having such a great time.”
Darcey Wise, Event Manager, Everyman Cinemas
Working again with longtime collaborators Gingerline, we were drafted in as director, story consultant and immersive magic makers on Juniper Manor, their collaboration with Sipsmith Gin, as well as their third incarnation of the sell out show Chambers of Flavour.
At the Cannes Lion Festival we played with News UK alongside The Institute of Flavourology, creating an immersive ‘who done it’ caper. Across a lavish evening of fine dining and investigative journalism we immersed high flying journalists in a caper of aristocrats, sex and stolen diamonds.
“You and your guys were fantastic! I too wish to be lucky enough to have an opportunity for us to work together again soon.”
Keith Poole, Digital Editor, The Sun
Hot on the trail of La La Land we created an immersive musical for Easyjet in collaboration with A Tout France. Our audience took off on a 19th Century carousel, for an all singing all dancing immersive love story set in the South of France.
We (literally) kicked off the year with Prudential Vietnam’s gala dinner in the Hilton Park Lane. We created a high impact immersive experience “a la” James Bond complete with a cast of incredible stuntmen and martial artists.
Workshops and Talks peppered the busy year. Chief of Play Isabel joined the extremely vibey panel at SquareMeal to contemplate the true meaning of being a trendsetter.
We held workshops on storytelling and creativity for Diageo, Red Bull and the NHS for vulnerable women.
Our Creator of Play Natalie headed up Groovement sessions across the year, adding a special session for Mama & Baby following the birth of her first child (Reuben’s love child) Talulah!

Endless thanks go out to all the teams who make the magic happen, the brilliant creatives, valiant crews and ridiculously talented cast members Reuben is lucky enough to work with.
Most of all Reuben would like to say a massive thank you to all the brilliant clients who continue to commission Reuben to make these awesome immersive projects.
From us here at Reuben Feels,
Happy Christmas everyone!
Here’s to a playful 2018.
